Dinosaurs Among Us

Visit the top floor of our Downtown Newark location to view the American Museum of Natural History's Dinosaurs Among Us panel exhibit. Explore compelling fossil evidence that living birds evolved from a group of dinosaurs, providing a vivid link to the ancient past.
Dinosaurs Among Us is organized by the American Museum of Natural History, New York (amnh.org) with support from Museo de Ciencias, Universidad de Navarra, Spain; North Museum of Nature and Science, United States; Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum, Canada; and Universum Museo de las Ciencias de la UNAM, Mexico.

Art Outside the Lines
August 1 - September 11
Licking County Library and PALS Ohio’s "Art Outside the Lines" offer a joint exhibition to elevate the voices of those with disabilities through creative expression. The artists share their artwork in this special exhibit, on display from August 1 through September 11.
Visit us on September 1 at 1pm in the Discovery Center at our Downtown Newark location to celebrate the artists and their work.
Forgotten Ohio: Ghost Towns and Ghostly Places

This exhibit is an invitation to step across the threshold between Ohio’s present and its past. It is a journey through the forgotten corners of the state, proving that while time eventually reclaims everything, the spirits of these places—and the people who built them—never truly leave.
