Downtown Newark
Meeting Rooms: The spaces can be rented for a fee by community groups when not needed for library-related activities. Make online reservations for a meeting room at the Downtown Newark location.
See our Meeting Room Policy for rules of use. Requests can be made for use of our kitchenette, dry-erase board, projector, laptop, podium or microphone.
- Large Meeting Room: $75 for 4 hours, an additional $75 for any additional time, limit of 100 people
- Small Meeting Room: $50 for 4 hours, an additional $50 for any additional time, limit of 20 people
- The above fees do not apply to non-profit organizations
Study Rooms: Spaces are available for free and can be reserved for 2-hour increments. See our Study Room Guidelines for rules of use. There is a room capacity limit of six people. Make online reservations for a study room at the Downtown Newark location.
Johnstown (Mary E. Babcock)
Small Meeting Room: This room seats 12 people. Requests can be made for a projector and portable screen. It also includes a sink. Cost for the small meeting room is $50 for 4 hours. There is no cost to non-profit organizations. Reservations can be made online or by calling 740.967.2982. There is no cost to non-profit organizations.
Large Meeting Room: This room seats 100 people. Requests can be made for a projector and portable screen. It includes a separate entrance, TV screens, restrooms, and a sink. Cost for the large meeting room is $85 for 4 hours. Reservations can be made online or by calling 740.967.2982. There is no cost to non-profit organizations.
Study Room 1: Room is free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis or by reservation. Use is limited to 2 hours.
Local History Study Room: Room is free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis or by reservation. Use is limited to 2 hours.
Buckeye Lake
Small Meeting Room: This room seats 20 people. It includes a projector and smart board. Reservations can be made online or by calling 740.928.0472. Cost for the meeting room is $50 for 4 hours. There is no cost to non-profit organizations.
Utica
Small Meeting Room: This room seats 12 people. It includes a TV; an HDMI port for laptop hookup; and two tables with whiteboard tops. Reservations can be made online or by calling 740.892.2400. Cost for the meeting is $50 for 4 hours. There is no cost to non-profit organizations.
West Newark (Emerson R. Miller)
Study Rooms: Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis or by reservation and are free of charge. There are two rooms:
- Study Room 1: limit of four people
- Hafer Memorial Room: limit of six people
